Norwegian Wool

There are approximately 2 million sheep in Norway and approximately 85% of this wool is the cross-bred type, with a fibre diameter of 30-35microns. Norwegian wool is well-known for its lustre, crimp and durability. Norwegian wool is predominantly used for upholstery, knitwear, handknitting yarns, carpets, rugs, and throws. More recently, luxury yarns have been developed for the fashion industry.
